Welcome to Currahee Cherokee website. I have tried to include items of interest as observed over the many years spent on and around this famous landmark "Currahee". Some of the items are of mystic origin and not verifiable while some of the items are a part of written history. It will be left up to the reader to decipher between that which is mystic and historic. It is with hope that the items included here will bring back some nostalgic memories and stir a new interest to learn more about the many different inhabitants around this mountain since it was first seen after being pushed up by the large piece of ice as it slid toward the great waters.
